Hey there I am so happy I found your web site, I really found you by accident, while I was researching on Askjeeve for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say kudos for a fantastic post and a all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to read through it all at the minute but I have book-marked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read more, Please do keep up the superb work.

Dear Mr. Nelson,
What a marvelous, wonderful book! I thought this was just about Apollo 11 but to my surprise it really traced the roots of the missle and space race that I grew up in the 50's and 60's. I got your book from the library and just enjoyed every single page. I liked it so much that I bought a copy for a present for my son who is a aeronautical engineer with the USAF.
A huge congratulations to you on this remarkable achievement. I hope you sell many copies and reap the rewards of all your hard work.
Thanks so much for helping me understand what really went on.
Did they really forget to put a handle on the outside of the LEM? I find this amazing!

So excited for you--for your good storytelling, for caring, and for other people to notice. Glad you friended me online and that I've had a chance to spread the word in a small way.

Rest up and I hope all good things continue come.

P.S. I posted my personal recollection of the night of the first moon landing--it was a while ago when I saw you're request on your blog or somewhere. :)

No matter how many great reviews I get, nothing compares to hearing directly from readers on how much they enjoyed my work. Letters like yours make my day ... thanks Paul ...

Thanks so much for your kind words, but don't be impressed! It's hilarious and embarrassing. When you look at the Fox clip, between 4 hours of sleep and the camera's blinding lights, my eyes are so squinty you can't even them, and on the national geographic video interview, my voice is so gone I sound like a chain smoker and I'm so exhausted it looks like I'm about to fall out of the chair. I got worried that the only people who saw these and bought the book were into Zombies. Remember in our 30s, getting by on a couple hours of sleep and the next day was fine? What happened to us! XXX C

What a wonderful story of the craziness of well-deserved success! I wish you nothing but the best, Craig, and that includes a wish for quality sleep. Being chipper at 7:22 on live radio ain't no joke and I'm impressed by your deflecting abilities!
